As per article 7 of Law No. 7437 on Amendments to the Higher Education Law and several other laws, which was published on the Official Gazette no. 32099 of 9 February 2023, and article 3 added to Law No. 2937 on State Intelligence Services and National Intelligence Organization, it was decided to establish a higher education institution called the National Intelligence Academy at MİT to provide postgraduate education,  conduct scientific research, and publish scientific papers.
