Naci Aşkun (born 1906) graduated from the Turkish Military Academy and held various positions at the Turkish Armed Forces. He was appointed as Staff Captain to the Directorate of National Security Services on 15 April 1940, where he held various positions before being appointed as Military Attaché to Rome on 27 May 1952. Upon returning to the Directorate after the 27 May 1960 coup d’état, Aşkun was promoted to Director on 17 January 1961 and remained in his post until 18 August 1962.
Having retired as Major General, Naci Aşkun passed away in 1982.
