Bahattin Özülker (born 1914) joined the Turkish Armed Forces in 1933 and was promoted to Brigadier Admiral in 1960 after holding various positions at the Naval Forces Command. He served as Acting Chief of Staff at the Naval Forces Command before before assuming the position of Acting Navy Corps Commander for the Straits and the Sea of Marmara in 1961. Özülker became Navy Commander three years later as Lieutenant Admiral and was appointed as Military Chief of Staff in 1966 before voluntarily retiring on 1 October 1966. Özülker became Undersecretary on 28 February 1974 and passed away on 26 September 1974 after suffering a heart attack.
