An amendment was made to the Law No.2937 on State Intelligence Services and National Intelligence Organization with the Article 7 of the Law No.7437 on the Amendment of the Higher Education Law and Some Laws which entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette no. 32099 on February 9, 2023.

Establishment of a higher education institution within MIT under the name of National Intelligence Academy, which aims to provide postgraduate level education, scientific research and publications on intelligence, national security and related areas, was enacted with the Supplementary Article 3, which was added to the Law No.2937.
