Directly subordinate to the Undersecretary, the Office Of Media Relations Counselor
is not a source for the media to obtain or to verify their reports, but an authority
to which the members of the media may appeal on issues concerning the Undersecretariat
of the MIT.
The Office Of Media Relations Counselor has also been assigned to
properly inform the public
on the National Intelligence Organization, to prevent any unfair,
false or negative impressions that might appear in the public
opinion regarding the Organization, to issue the Press Releases
of the MIT and to contribute to the promotion of the National
Intelligence Organization.
