PERSONNEL RECRUITMENT PROCESS

In our organization personnel recruitments are based on requirements. No examination is made on individual basis. The personnel recruitment process, though it may differ depending on the branch at which the candidates will be employed, are generally comprised of the following phases.

  • Knowledge of Language: It is necessary for the Candidate Intelligence Officers and Translators to have good command of at least one foreign language and for the candidate Electronic Engineers, Computer Engineers, Technical Analysts, Computer Programmers and Computer Operators a good command of English.

  • The grade taken by the candidate from the Language Exam for Civil Servants (KPDS) will be taken as the base in determining the language knowledge of the candidate.

  • Professional Efficiency Exam: It aims to determine the knowledge of the applicant in his/her own professional branch. Candidates of Engineer and Computer Expert shall take this exam.

  • Overall Efficiency and Competition Exam: It is a written exam to determine the overall cultural knowledge, and skills of the candidate. The grade taken from the Selection Exam for Civil Servants KPSSP1 shall be taken as the base for the Candidate Intelligence Officers.

The Overall Efficiency and Competition Exam to be employed in the other
groups is done by our Organization itself.

  • Writing Composition: It is applied to measure the command of the Turkish Language of the Candidate Intelligence Officers,

  • Medical Examination: The applicants should not have a remarkable physical defection. They must have a Certificate of Medical Commission from an official Medical Institute indicating that they do not have a health problem that would hinder the fulfillment of their duties under any condition. Furthermore, all the applicants are subject to a detailed medical examination by our expert doctors in our own medical unit. (The required health conditions for the candidates are determined in the Health Directive.)

  • There are also identified criteria for visual defects for the candidates who are to be employed in our Organization, depending on the branches they will be appointed to. Should the results of the medical examination be positive, having had a LASIK (Laser in Situ Keratomileusis) operation is not a drawback for being employed in our Organization.

  • The Phase of Appointment: Since the appointments are to be based on the related regulations and personnel requirements of our Organization, should the designated quota be not available, the applicant is not appointed even if he/she accomplishes all the phases.
